"Why do worshipers of Shree worship with Shani?" Shani is the son of Sun and Shadow, but one of his legs is broken. Long ago, there was a Maharishi Dadhichi, his son was Pippalad. Once upon a time out of the wrath of Pipalad's anger, Shanti came down directly on the ground and one of his legs broke. It is mentioned in the Puranas that this event is from Tretayug, that there was a terrible famine once upon earth. In this famine, Sage Dadhichi and her son also suffered loss. His whole family was killed in famine. One day Devshi Narad, who was traveling in the sky, saw the Saint Dadhichi. Their condition was deen-inferior. Then he met them and urged them to worship the Lord Shri. Then Rishi Dadhichi started worshiping ShriHari with all his heart, Shri Lahir was pleased with his worship and gave him health, knowledge and childhood. The sage settled his house and became absorbed in the devotion of the Lord. Time passed and Pipalad was born in his house. Later, they are known as Sage Pipalad. But Pipalad became orphan in his childhood and his life was full of sufferings. Then one day, Piplad came to know that the cause of their problems is Shani Dev. Then they got very angry. And he saw Shani Dev from an angry observer while traveling in the sky. Then Shane fell directly on the ground and one of his legs broke. Pippalad was about to curse Shani Dev, that Brahma ji appeared there and he told Pippalad that there is no mistake of Shani Dev in this whole incident, but it is the law of law. Then Brahmaji said to Pipalad, whoever worshiped Shani Dev, worshiping Shani Dev while keeping in mind the devotees of Pripalad (People) Shalabhak. He will receive Shani's grace soon. 

"शनीदेव के साथ क्यों करते पीपल की पूजा?" शनदेव, सूर्य और छाया के पुत्र हैं, लेकिन उनका एक पैर टूटा हुआ है। बहुत समय पहले एक महर्षि ददचि थे, उनके पुत्र थे पिपप्लाद एक बार पिपलालाद की क्रोध भरी दृष्टि का प्रकोप से शनीदेव सीधे नीचे भूमि पर आ गए और उनके एक पैर टूट गए। पुराणों में कहा गया है कि यह घटना त्रेतायुग की है, कि धरती पर एक बार भयानक अकाल पड़ा इस अकाल में ऋषि ददचि और उनके पुत्र को भी हानि उठाने पड़ी। उनका पूरा परिवार अकाल में मार दिया गया था। एक दिन आकाश में घूमने वाले देवरि नारद ने ऋषि ददचि को देखा। उनके दशा दीन-हीन थाई तब उन्होंने उन से मिले और उनसे श्रीहरि की पूजा करने के लिए आग्रह किया फिर से ऋषि ददचिची पूरी मन से श्रीहरि की पूजा करने लगे, उनकी पूजा से श्रीहरि प्रसन्न हुई और उन्हें स्वास्थ्य, ज्ञान और संतान की वर दिए। ऋषि ने अपना घर बसाया और प्रभु की भक्ति में लीन हो गए। समय बीतता गया और उनके घर में पिपलला जन्म हुआ जो आगे चलकर ऋषि पिपप्लाद के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हो गए। लेकिन पिपलाद बचपन में ही अनाथ हो गए और उनका जीवन कष्टों से भर गया तब एक दिन पिपलाद को पता चला कि उनकी परेशानी का कारण शनीदेव है। तब उनको बहुत गुस्सा आया। और उन्होंने आकाश में घूमने के लिए शनदेव को क्रोध भरी नजरों से देखा तब शनीदेव सीधे धरती पर गिर गए और उनका एक पैर टूट गया। पिपप्लाद शनदेव को शाप देने ही वाला था, कि वहां ब्रह्मा जी प्रतीत हुए और उन्होंने पिपप्लाद को बताया कि इस पूरे घटनाक्रम में शनीदेव का कोई गलती नहीं है, बल्कि यह विधि का विधान है। तब ब्रह्माजी ने पिपललाद से कहा जो भी सनातन पाईपलाद (पीपल) का मन में ध्यान रखे हुए है, शनदेव का पूजा-अर्चना और आराधना होगा। उसे शरण देवु की कृपा शीघ्र प्राप्त होगी
